Our Senior Room have been enjoying the challenge of chess, developing their skills and discovering the fun of thinking a few moves ahead!
Chess encourages concentration, problem-solving and patience while giving pupils opportunities to learn from one another. Each game is a chance to practise making decisions, try different strategies and show good sportsmanship.
It’s wonderful to see our pupils growing in confidence, supporting each other and enjoying some friendly competition across the chessboard!
