Our school garden has been a great success this year, and the children were delighted to see the fruits and vegetables they planted and cared for finally ready to harvest.
We were excited to pick our own strawberries, lettuce, carrots, beetroot and spring onions. The children enjoyed seeing how much everything had grown and learning about where our food comes from.
After harvesting our produce, the children were able to bring it home to enjoy with their families. It was a wonderful way to celebrate all their hard work and see the rewards of caring for our garden.
We are very proud of our young gardeners and look forward to planting, growing and harvesting more in the future!
